CardSage LLC ("CardSage," "we," "us," or "our") operates the CardSage mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Email address and password when you register for an account.
• Collection data: Card names, sets, conditions, purchase prices, and valuations you enter into the App.
• Camera data: Images captured during card scanning. Images are sent to Google Cloud Vision API for text recognition and are not stored permanently.
• Usage data: How you interact with the App, including features used and session duration.
• Device information: Device type, operating system version, and app version.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the CardSage App
• Process card scans and return pricing information
• Sync your collection across devices
• Provide AI-powered advice through the Sage advisor
• Send transactional emails such as account confirmations
• Respond to your support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Services

CardSage uses the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Supabase: Database and authentication. Your account data and collection are stored on Supabase servers.
• Anthropic Claude API: Powers the Sage AI advisor. Your collection data and questions are sent to Anthropic to generate responses.
• Google Cloud Vision API: Processes camera images for card text recognition. Images are not retained.
• TCG Price Lookup API: Retrieves card pricing data.
• RevenueCat: Manages subscription billing and purchase verification.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share data only as necessary to operate the App through the third-party services listed above, or as required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and collection data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days of your request.

6. Your Rights (California Residents – CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
• Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

7. Children's Privacy

CardSage is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure database storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
